I am Zachary Grant, a Director, Director of Photography, and Editor. Well over 18 years ago I began my career in this industry as an entry level production assistant helping out the art department in the commercial world in Phoenix, Arizona. Eventually that lead to a production coordinating role that had me fighting logistics with the mother nature at the Grand Canyon several times a year for Volkswagen, Honda, Mazda commercials as well as Super Bowl spots for the likes of GoDaddy and Tostitos. After working in the camera department on an IMAX film that happened to be shooting local, I soon realized that is where my true passion laid. This lead me to worldwide travel starting with pulling focus and loading film in the arctic circle of Svalbard, Norway to the deserts outside of Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Throughout the years, I followed and learned from a great number of mentors who each had his and her own style. From documentaries to reality tv, eventually I would develop my own, becoming a Director of Photography and Editor, specializing in commercial and branded content. Jackamo Entertainment was born as a natural result of exploring and loving all aspects of production, and a dog. A very, very cool dog named Jackamo.
